Mashed Potatoes Recipe
Chic & Creamy Flavorful Famous Mashed Potatoes

YOUR LOCAL FRESH SHOPPING LIST:
♦ 2 lb. Potatoes
♦ 1 1/2 T. (1/2 packet) Spitfire Gourmet Chic & Creamy
♦ Sour Cream
1. Wash 2 lbs. Potatoes, and cover with water in a pot (skin-on is just fine). Boil uncovered until tender, and drain.
2. Add 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) Butter, 1 cup Sour Cream, and 1 1/2 T. (1/2 packet) Spitfire Gourmet Chic & Creamy.
3. Use electric mixer to blend until smooth. Salt & Pepper to taste.
Gourmet Tip: Make sure potatoes are cooked enough to blend easily, so you don’t have to overmix – or potatoes will get “starchy” (sticky).
WINE: Potatoes are “comfort food,” and good comfort food dinner wines are Chardonnay, Dry Riesling or Viognier (white), or Pinot Noir, Gamay or Zinfandel (red).
