Mashed Potatoes Recipe
Kick & Creamy Flavorful Famous Mashed Potatoes
(Prep & cook time: mins. Serves 10-12)
Your local fresh shopping list is bolded:
♦ Wash 5 lbs. Potatoes, and cover with water in a pot (skin-on is just fine). Boil uncovered until tender, and drain. ♦ Add 1 stick Butter, 1 cup Sour Cream, 1/2 cup Half & Half, and the Kick & Creamy packet. Use electric mixer to
blend until smooth. Salt & Pepper to taste.
Gourmet Tip: Make sure potatoes are cooked enough to blend easily,
so you don’t have to overmix – or potatoes will get “starchy” (sticky).
WINE: Potatoes are “comfort food,” and good comfort food dinner
wines are Chardonnay, Dry Riesling or Viognier (white),
or Pinot Noir, Gamay or Zinfandel (red).
